I was invited to attend a TU school at the AuSable. I must say that the AuSable is one awesome river. There are great BWO, Caddis, and Trico hatches in July! Lots of great brook trout action now. Most of the Brown trout were under thick wooden cover and come out at night to feed. One morning we had a big trico hatch that started at 9:30 and the spinner fall ended at 12:00 Most brook trout were in the 7-10 inch range and i landed one 11 inch brookie!
